Broadform Auto Insurance

Yes we offer Broadform insurance coverage for your personal auto needs! It does not matter how many cars you own or driver, but there are a few rules you must live by. Such as if there is a loan on the car, the carrier will require Comprehensive and Collision, so you cannot buy a Liability-only policy. There are other rules that apply such only 1 driver per policy. Broadform Insurance Endorsement

The Broadform Insurance endorsement provides Liability coverage for an individual who either owns or drives a private passenger type vehicle but only requires Liability coverage. The rating territory is based on the named insured’s resident ZIP Code — which cannot be out of state. This coverage is in excess of any other coverage. 

  • Vehicles cannot be listed on the policy. 
  • Only one driver (the named insured) can be listed on the policy.
  • If multiple drivers are in the same household — including husband/wife — a separate policy must be written for each individual. 
  • Coverage does not extend to household members or other permissive drivers. 
  • Bodily Injury and Property Damage coverages are required. 
  • Coverage is not available if there is an Excluded driver on the policy. 
  • Only Liability coverage is available (e.g., Bodily Injury, Property Damage, Personal Injury Protection, UIM, UIMP).  Physical Damage coverage is not allowed. 
  • Financial Responsibility  / SR22 filings are acceptable. 
  • Business Use or Artisan Use is not acceptable. 
  • Discounts and surcharges are applicable.
